When / where did you first come in contact with choral music

I discovered choir singing during my first year of primary school, and I was completely out of tune and rhythm. My teacher explained to my parents that it means nothing to say “she can't sing” because everybody can sing on tune and rhythm, some of people just need to learn how to do it. I was one of them.

When did you first get across ECA-EC and how did you end up in the Board?

I met ECA-EC during the General Assembly in Barcelona in 2014. I was working on a European Project for school, and I asked to my boss if I could learn more about the Voice Project, so he accepted to show me concretely what a European Project meant by inviting me to this GA.

What is the greatest experience you’ve had inside the choral world?

As audience, the first open singing I heard in the Roman Theater of Choralies Festival, thrills and chills guaranteed !

As singer, it was a concert with my choir in front of 5000 people, it was the first time for us to sing in front of so much people and we had a great success... Impossible to hold our tears...

As manager, of course the Young Event Manager Program.. Clearly I NEVER WORKED AS I DID THERE BEFORE, but I learnt soooo much, I am really gratefull to this program.

What is the greatest experience you’ve had outside the choral world?

My pregnancy ? I had no idea of what “mood swings” meant before being pregnant. It's the best roller coaster I ever experienced !

Can you remember participating in an activity of ECA-EC that especially marked you? Or is there a moment during such an activity you specifically remember?

It was during an ECA-EC General Assembly in Helsinki. It was the first time I participated actively in a round table and I discovered that we were not alone in our country to wonder about such subject ! The future of the choral world, the financial (and crucial) questions for choir organisations, the new repertoire that is emerging and from where...
