Sad news on SING UK

Sing UK, a member of ECA-EC for several years, and known to many of our members as organisers of the wonderful Worcester International Festival for Young Singers in 2013, has unfortunately closed down at the end of 2015 following the retirement of two of its directors.
Over the last eight years, Sing UK has undertaken exciting and important work delivering exceptional, high quality choral singing opportunities for young people, both working with teenagers in local secondary schools and organising the international festival.

The announcement of the closure of Sing UK will not necessarily mark the end of similar projects, but the future will be dependent upon the will of individuals and organisations locally ('though not exclusively) in Worcestershire - the base for most of Sing UK's activity over the past eight years. If you want to know more, please get in touch with:

Singing With Impact: International Survey For Vocal Leaders

Are you a conductor or a vocal leader working with a group of singers and do you want to broaden your horizon?
The Resonance Lab (Merlijn Twaalfhoven, Merel Martens, Peder Karlsson and others) want to increase the impact of choirs, conductors and creative vocal leaders in society. In order to understand your situation as a conductor, choir or workshop leader better, they've created a short questionnaire. With the results, they want to make targeted and practical steps to help the international choral world to blossom even more.
If you are curious, we suggest you take part in the research! You are very welcome to reply to the questions in your own language if this is easier for you. Simply click on this link: http://bit.ly/1Uszo7N
